Go ahead and name something creepier than a mannequin.
In the spirit of all things terrifying, the freaks over at Bergamot station are hosting the scariest art show in town.
Artist/photographer Carol Kleinman explores the “lives” of these life-sized dolls for Once Upon a Mannequin at the TAG Gallery at Bergamot Station.
Open today, the exhibition is comprised of images that challenge the fine line between what is seen and what is understood. Kleinman captures the subject’s vacant stares with the eerie reflections in store windows. Each piece is a single exposure with no manipulations. Head over to Santa Monica to watch them, watching you.
