This Friday, October 3rd, prepare to get knocked off your senses. Literally. Castle Gourmet Dining, along with the Institute of Art and Olfaction and Thank You For Coming, lure Angelenos in with a one-of-a-kind creative and culinary collaboration called “Stop and Smell Your Dinner.” It’s more than an edible arrangement, y’all. It’s an evening of food with scent pairings you’d never think twice about—cause you’d never think these mash-ups could exist in the realm of foodie heaven reality. Sensorial magic.
Behind the food decks to create culinary bliss for this installation is Chef Anne Lee of Castle Gourmet Dining along with complimentary aromas by Saskia Wilson-Brown of The Institute for Art and Olfaction. This pairing in itself proves that the evening will not be an ordinary dining experience. We took a peek at the menu samples—and immediately signed up, so yes, we’ll be there—with four courses that put the word “rad” on our tongue’s repeat station, a sensory adventure awaits us indeed.
The experience starts at 7:30pm and takes place at the Atwater Village based food collective and art space, Thank You For Coming, located at 3416 Glendale Blvd, LA, CA 90039. Get your Friday night way turned on by grabbing a seat at the table RIGHT HERE. Don’t be shy when you arrive, say hello to us.
