Clifton Middle School students will offer a performance of “Fame! JR.,” for two back to back weekends on April 16-18 and 23-25.

“Fame! JR.” is based on the hit motion picture turned long-running television series. It takes place in New York City’s High School for the Performing Arts in the 1980s.The musical follows a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work in order to achieve their dream of seeing their name in lights. The show explores the issues that confront many young people today, including prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy and perseverance.
