It’s hard to beat a great recommendation. Our annual Readers’ Choice is a compilation of recommendations from your neighbors on how to enjoy your life best in the SoCal.
State of the SoCal
The pandemic was hard on small businesses. Many closed and those that didn’t are still recovering their finances. It’s a critical time for our favorite local spots and a perfect opportunity to recognize their contribution to our community.
Your Role
Readers’ Choice isn’t complete without your input. As a community member you know best which businesses deserve recognition. Make sure they get the credit they deserve by nominating, voting, and enjoying!

How it works
You nominate
Everyone has their go-to local businesses. From March 2-April 13, nominate the restaurants, salons, mechanics, or other fixtures you rely on most in your community.
You Vote
On April 27 we’ll announce the best nominees in dozens of categories. From April 27 to June 8, vote for the ones you feel deserve recognition for their outstanding service.
You Enjoy
Go visit the winners! Readers’ Choice 2023 will be published on August 31. It’s a fantastic way to learn what your neighborhood has to offer. Try out all the finalists and see what the buzz is about!

To nominate, you need to register your account

In the event of a tie HeyMedia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the winner based on the contest requirements. Businesses may only win the top spot in a maximum of 3 categories. HeyMedia reserves the right to supplement and modify the rules without notice.
