Do you want to integrate your managed IT service provider into your business as if they’re part of the in-house team?
Here are four tips to work effectively with them so everyone is happy and productive:
- Set clear expectations. Be up front. It’s important for both parties to be on the same page about what’s expected, especially the scope of work.
- Full Access. To be effective, your managed service provider (MSP) needs to get a full understanding of your current IT infrastructure. Giving them access at the beginning of your relationship will help you get the best service possible.
- Ask Questions. You should always know what’s happening in your business, especially something of this magnitude.
- In the event of a disturbance, let the MSP you hired do the work. If they need you to take action on something, they will let you know!
