COMMERCIAL ACTING for ADULTS will be offered September 30 – December 2 at Pasadena Senior Center. This ten-week on-camera course meets Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm at the Center.

Nearly every day in Los Angeles television commercials are produced. Nearly every commercial produced is seeking new faces to promote products. Baby boomers currently comprise the largest demographic of consumers in the United States. Students are invited to perform regularly on videotape and have their work professionally critiqued. Emphasis is placed on developing the individual’s unique qualities, understanding student’s particular ‘type’, strengthening confidence, and developing professional skills necessary for entering the television commercial industry. Instructor Buddy Powell is a professional actor, credentialed in adult education, who has been teaching commercial acting inLos Angeles for thirteen years.
