The Metro Board ended efforts to widen the 710 Freeway.

After well over a decade of trying to get this project moving, the Metro Board of Directors voted on May 26th, 2022 to instead re-allocate the money into improving communities that live along the 710 freeway. The various areas to improve include air quality, traffic congestion, and general safety While LA traffic isn’t going to change, any improvement to locals who live alongside the freeway is welcome.
