Royal Doo Dah Cocktail Extravaganza
This Sunday at Fenyes Mansion
This Sunday July 1, from 5pm-8pm, one could have a unique opportunity to meet the people behind, in front of and in the back of the not so mysterious but delightfully delirious Doo Dah Parade. This Sunday, at the legendary Fenyes Mansion, the organizers ask you to come drink and hang out with Doo Dah Royalty at the gorgeous estate ( featured in countless movies over the years) which is also next to the home of the Pasadena Museum of History. The elaborate affair, which truly is one of kind, will be presented by the wonderfully daft Doo Dah Parade folks in conjunction with Pasadena Museum of History. It is a fundraiser, a hair raiser and a totally cool time will be had by all who attend, especially if you help add funds for the Doo Dah Retrospective. For a mere $35 donation, you’ll be treated like Royalty and actually be able walk, talk and mingle with Pasadena’s best known Royals, the Doo Dah Queens.
You’ll sip signature cocktails like the Dirty Doo Dah, The Doo Dah Drop or even the DooDahpolitan. One might even get a chance to speak with the exhalted rulers of LightBringer Project, Lord Tom (Doo Dah) Coston and the unparalleled Paddy (Parade) Hurley.
In addition to Snotty Scotty and the Hankies ( the official Doo Dah Band of some repute ), there will be exclusive albeit delicious Doo Dah hors d’oeuvres and unusual beers and other libations. From 5-8PM. Don’t miss this one, its THE social gathering of the year!

The Doo Dah Retrospective ‘Doo Dah Parade, What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been’ opens August 15, 2012 and will feature an exhibition of Doo Dah memorabilia and photos from the beginning of time. Well, the beginning of Doo Dah time, and that really says it all, doesn’t it!?
All proceeds from Sunday’s event will help finance the ambitious exhibit which opens August 15 at the Pasadena Museum of History.
