Familiar faces Peter Amandson, Micky Segal and Bob Harbicht once again take their seats on Arcadia City Council. The three candidates won the most votes and ousted 3 hopeful Asian American candidates, Cheng, Lee and Tay leaving the council without any Asian-American representation
Jim Barrows, Arcadia City Clerk swore in Peter Amundson as the new Mayor of Arcadia on Tuesday night’s city council meeting.
Also swore in for their new terms were councilmen Micky Segal and Bob Harbicht.
Gary Kovacic is now Mayor Pro Tem.
In his opening comments, Amundson said he wanted the City to focus on the development of Downtown Arcadia and prepare to maximize the potential of the Gold Line light scheduled for Arcadia in 2013.
