An early morning fire Monday damaged a detached garage in Boyle Heights.
The fire was reported at 1:17 a.m. at 1146 S. Esperanza St., said the Los Angeles Fire Department‘s Nicholas Prange.
It took 26 firefighters 21 minutes to put out the flames, Prange said. No injuries were reported.
