We talk about businesses on Myrtle all of the time. What about the stepchildren? The businesses that are in Old Town but are on the side streets. There are so many and we…I have been neglecting them. They really aren’t stepchildren. They are gems that get overlooked by many.

Have you been to Better Health Medical Group? They are located at 116 W. Lime Ave.  I just signed up for their newsletter at 4betterhealth.com. They are a medical office that offers medical grade skin care and aesthetics. They have a location here and in San Marino. They also offer acupuncture and chiropractic & massage therapy. You can get an IV infusion therapy, for wellness, hangover, or hydration. They offer facials, Botox, laser and body contouring. I’m definitely interested in visiting Better Health! I don’t know what to try first!

Also on Lime, at 106 E. Lime Ave, is Jenni B.’s. What an adorable shop! Rowena, the owner is such a sweet person. The store if filled with really cute clothes and accessories. They have super chic items and although they definitely aren’t inexpensive, they are fairly priced for the designers you’re purchasing. They also have really cute boutique items, like soaps, lotions, lip balms etc.

The Saltner Wine & Cicchetti, just now celebrating their fifth year in Monrovia, is a great little gem in Old Town. They have an extensive wine list they offer in 3- or 6-ounce pours. They also offer small plates of delicious, made from scratch dishes that pair perfectly with their delicious wines. It’s perfect for date night, or even a prequel or sequel to date night! It’s definitely a must try!

Let me know if you have any hidden gems that I’ve missed.
