A shooting involving Los Angeles police was reported Thursday in Hollywood.
The shooting occurred about 11:20 a.m. near Hollywood Boulevard and Cherokee Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. CBSLA reported the incident as being a block down from the Egyptian Theatre.
Officers went to the area on a report of a man with a gun, and two people may have been injured, according to broadcast reports.
