Who’s hungry?

LA-based (s)quad, Harriet, just announced their debut album, titled American Appetite, to be released on Harvest Records on January 29th, 2016. They’ll be opening for Zella Day at the Fonda Theater on December 8th– as both artists are fans of each other.

We can’t wait to see them live. But first order of business? The pregame.

They’re trying, we’re trying too. Trying to turn uppp- so we asked each of the bands about their favorite cocktail recipes. Alex, from Harriet, shares his:

Shrimp and white wine

Step 1: Buy shrimp
Step 2: Buy wine (white)
Step 3: Serve

Great! Simple and effective. And delicious.

And Zella Day’s choice drink for the holidays? Sangria.

Ingredients:
Ice cubes
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
2 ounces tempranillo wine, preferably crianza
3-4 ounces Coca-Cola
Large orange peel
Lime wheel

Instructions:
In a large wine glass filled with 4 or 5 large ice cubes, add the Grand Marnier, then the red wine, then the Coca-Cola. Add orange peel and lime wheel, and stir gently.
