Barcelona/London-based collective CANADA has wildly executed Aussie band Tame Impala’s latest video for single, The Less I Know The Better. Now sit back and discover this bizarre daydream filled with coming-of-age tales of high schooler attraction between a sexy cheerleader and a pretty hot b-baller… and all the psycho teenage mind games and confusion that accompany all the thrills. How’s that for a speedy walk-through down memory lane? We just had hot flashes. This video has some scenes that may lead you to anticipate your screening away from the office—unless, freelance life.

Pairing animation, live action, vivid shots and a mascot-apeman named Trevor, CANADA’s translation of the song title couldn’t be more spot-on: Our baller is seen in the thick of it.
As summed up for It’s Nice That, “We wanted to do something colourful and sexy, pretty close to the psychedelic spirit of the band,” says CANADA. “We were interested in establishing interest between the characters: he loves her but she prefers another one, so, as the title says, the less this guy knows about her and him, the better. Which is something quite difficult to ignore when you’re aware of it.” While we’re fanning over this current piece, we’ve also swooned over their latest genius work with Kitchen Drummer, Family Of The Year and Vogue. They’ve been churning camera culture since ’08, and the mighty fine experience shows itself nicely.
