The second annual #ThisGen youth empowerment forum, presented by East West Bank, was set to return to Pasadena on March 28, but has bwwn postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
Geared toward high school and college students, #ThisGen is a day filled with conversations with star athletes, industry innovators, talented artists, writers and more.
This Tournament of Roses event was supposed to feature opportunities to mix and mingle with speakers and community leaders. #ThisGen aims to not only inspire the next generation of leaders but provide an opportunity for networking.
The program had planned to feature three speaker panels: Hustle & Motivate: Career Panel, Victory Lap: Sports Panel, and the Blueprint: STEAM/STEM Panel.
Featured speakers who were scheduled to attend include former pro-football champion, Ramses Barden; writer for Apex Legends, Tom Casiello; 2016 Olympic gold medalist, Laurie Hernandez and many more.
The Tournament of Roses is working on finding a new date for the fall. Once established they will post an announcement on their website.
