On Thursday, the City of Baldwin Park celebrated the grand opening of Grab a Crab at the Baldwin Park Towne Center. For the first time in five years, the previously empty storefront is once again welcoming customers.

The grand opening welcomed community members, city officials and business representatives to celebrate the restaurant’s official opening and its investment in Baldwin Park’s economy.

“We are thrilled to welcome Grab A Crab to the Baldwin Park Towne Center, giving our residents and neighbors another fantastic dining experience right here at home,” said Baldwin Park Mayor Daniel Damian. “Transforming a vacant space into a thriving business reflects our city’s commitment to driving local economic growth and supporting the businesses that make our community strong.”

The seafood boil and claw machine restaurant expands the variety of dining options available to the San Gabriel Valley.

“We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from the Baldwin Park community since our soft opening in late June,” said Micheal Zhong, manager of the Baldwin Park Grab a Crab location. “We’re excited to officially open our doors and become part of a retail center that brings people together over shopping and a good meal.”

Grab a Crab is open from 3 to 10 p.m., seven days a week. To learn more about Grab a Crab, including new employment opportunities, visit grabacrabca.com.
