Disneyland social media accounts hacked

Disneyland‘s social media accounts were hacked Thursday with racist and bigoted language.

The self-described “super hacker” was identified as David Do, who said he intended to “bring revenge” on the theme park company in Anaheim. Originally, it was unclear what Do was seeking revenge for, though it was later reported he was upset with “mocking me for having a small penis.”

Many of his posts included offensive slurs against Black people and homosexuals. Multiple posts featured the n-word and also made claims to having invented COVID-19 and alleged he was working on a new COVID-20 virus.

He specifically mentioned a coworker named Jerome in several of the posts as well. “I am a super hacker that is here to bring revenge upon Disney land,” Do wrote alongside a photo of himself in one of the posts, saying that he is sick of employees mocking him. “…Who’s the tough guy now Jerome?”

“Disneyland Resort’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were compromised early this morning,” a Disneyland official said on Thursday. “We worked quickly to remove the reprehensible content, secure our accounts, and our security teams are conducting an investigation.”

Anaheim police and FBI representatives were unaware of the hack. It was unclear if they were investigating at first.
