Man who suffers from seizures reported missing in Norwalk

Authorities sought the public’s help Friday to find a man who suffers from seizures who was reported missing in Norwalk.

Ismael Romero Cuevas, 33, was last seen on Wednesday about 5:40 p.m. in the 11700 block of Senwood Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

“Ismael suffers from a traumatic brain injury and seizures,” a sheriff’s department statement said. “His family is concerned for his well- being and are asking for the public’s help.”

Cuevas, also known as “Mayito” or “Mayo,” is Hispanic 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and a goatee. He has a scar below his right eyebrow, and a scar from the left side of his forehead to the back of his head.

Also, Cuevas has a tattoo of “South East” on his back and “Hater” on his left ankle. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and black-and-white checkered shorts.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website lacrimestoppers.org.
