Detectives Monday asked the public for help locating an 83-year-old man with prostate cancer last seen in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles in early March.

Tyrone Williams was last seen on the 1300 block of West 56th Street, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“His family is concerned for his wellbeing and asking for the public’s help,” Koerner said.

Williams is described as Black, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and balding black hair. He has a scar on his right eyebrow and his missing front teeth.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts was asked to call detectives at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
