Oakland woman reported missing Los Angeles, last seen in Vermont-Slauson

Police Friday were searching for a missing 32-year- old Oakland woman who was visiting family in Los Angeles and was last seen in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood.

Alexis Andrea Renee Heard was last seen Tuesday in the area of South Figueroa Street and West 69th Street, near the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Heard is Black, 5-feet-3 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, a tattoo of the name “Contessa” on her left forearm, a rose tattoo on her left wrist and heart tattoos on her left leg. She was last seen carrying a blue purse.

Anyone with information on Heard’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends can be directed to 877-527-3247.
