LAPD seeking public help to find missing man, 59, in West L.A. Area

Authorities Friday sought public help to find a man who went missing a week ago in the West Los Angeles area.

Robert John Martin, 59, was last seen on Sept. 24 near the 3700 block of Overland Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Martin is white 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a blue-and-gray shirt, blue jeans and a Los Angeles Dodgers hat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD at 213-996-1800; 877-LAPD-247; or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
