LASD seeks public’s help finding at-risk missing man last seen in Palmdale

Authorities sought the public’s assistance Tuesday to locate a missing 30-year-old man who suffers from schizophrenia and was last seen in Palmdale.

Michael Christopher Memolo was last seen at about 10 a.m. Friday in the 3500 block of East Avenue R, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department statement.

Memolo is white, 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and scars on the back of his head and one of his forearms. He was last seen wearing camouflage shorts, a white shirt and black shoes.

Anyone with information on Memolo’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
