For the first time in two years, Los Angeles County will be a host to the AirDotShow Live Tour as the USAF Thunderbirds will be returning to General William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster according to LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger.
Although the original version of the event was only set to visit six destination cities in 2021, the organization decided to extend their tour to Lancaster so residents of the Antelope Valley can enjoy the finale of the tour, which will showcase the Thunderbirds and the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team.
“The return of air shows this spring have been an inspirational and patriotic sign of reopening in communities across America,” said Barger. “I’m pleased that our Antelope Valley community, which is so deeply rooted in aviation, will be able to share in this excitement as we return an air show to Fox Airfield this fall.”
Along with being able to watch the event in person, fans will also be able to virtually attend the event via the AirDotShow Livestream.
The event is locally acknowledged as the LA Air Show, with tickets now available at laairshow.com.
