

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is conducting a homicide investigation following the fatal shooting of a man in Huntington Park Monday evening.
The shooting occurred at about 5:05 p.m. in the 6300 block of Pacific Boulevard, near Gage Avenue, according to Deputy Eva Jimenez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting, and no suspect description was provided by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
