Missing woman with Alzheimer’s last seen in Temple City found

An 82-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s and was reported missing Thursday morning after last being seen in Temple City has been found.

Bella Armida “Mickey” Horvath was last seen about 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 6100 block of North Muscatel Avenue, near Garibaldi Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Just after 5 a.m., the California Highway Patrol, which issued a Silver Alert for Horvath, announced she had been located, but did not disclose further details.

The Silver Alert program was established by the California Highway Patrol to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
