Police arrest suspect, confiscate ‘ghost gun’ various munitions
Police arrested a suspect on multiple felony charges and confiscated a weapon along with multiple munitions following a traffic stop near Downtown Long Beach, Wednesday. Mario Quinonez, a 24-year old resident of Long Beach, was booked on multiple charges including a probation violation and for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, police said. Officers also confiscated a ghost gun, police said, which often refers to firearms that are bought or assembled from pieces that cannot be traced, and are devoid of a serial number. Along with that firearm, officers recovered an AR-15 rifle upper receiver, multiple high-capacity magazines and ammunition.
