Multifaceted San Gabriel Valley Focus of Photo Exhibit at Gilb Museum

Diverse and striking photographs of the San Gabriel Valley by Douglas Hill will be on display at the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage starting in January. The temporary exhibit—entitled “The Main Drag: Photographs from the San Gabriel Valley”—begins with an opening reception on Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, and continues until March 7, 2020.

Douglas Hill is a well-known photographer whose work focuses on food, furniture, interiors, architecture and people. His works are represented at the Getty Museum, the Library of Congress, and the Huntington Library; he has taught at UCLA Extension for two decades.
