Monrovia firefighters recently played host to three members of the Nigerian Fire Service. The group traveled to Monrovia to witness live demonstrations of two propane (LPG) burn rooms in the fire training tower. After the tour, the representatives from Nigeria continued their journey to visit the burn room manufacturer in Corona. It appears that Nigeria is trying to improve fire service training and is looking to install facilities similar to the one in Monrovia at their fire academies.
The team that visited from Nigeria included Controller (Fire Chief) Anebi Joseph G., who reports directly to the President of Nigeria. In addition, Director of Academies Callistus Kanny, and Fire Training Facility Contractor Kenny Oguintoybi, were also part of the delegation.
