USA Network Filming Pilot for ‘Olive Forever’ in Old Town Monrovia Next Week

A production company working to develop a USA Network pilot called ‘Olive Forever‘ will be utilizing filming at various locations in and around Old Town.  The preparation work for the filming will begin on  July 18 and filming will take place on July 19 and 20.  The production crew will be working to clean everything up on July 21. Furthermore, in order to minimize any filming impacts, the production company will be paying to have Monrovia Police Department officials assist with intermittent traffic and pedestrian controls during the filming activity.

Tuesday, July 18
Location: 416 and 506 South Myrtle
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Activity: Prep work

Wednesday, July 19
Location #1: 329 Melrose Ave.
Time: 7 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Activity: Filming.

Location #2: Myrtle Avenue between Lemon and Lime
Time: 4 p.m. – Midnight
Activity: Filming. Northbound lane (Myrtle) closure from 5pm-10pm; equipment on sidewalk and curb; intermittent traffic and pedestrian control

 Location #3: West Lime from Myrtle to Primrose
Time: 4 p.m. – Midnight
Activity: Filming; equipment on sidewalk and curb; dolly track on street; intermittent traffic and pedestrian control

Location #4: 140 East Lime (Police Station)
Time: 7 p.m. – Midnight
Location: Police Station (140 East Lime)
Activity: Filming; equipment on sidewalk and curb; intermittent traffic and pedestrian control

Thursday, July 20
Location #1: 500 block of south Myrtle
Time: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Activity: Filming; Northbound lane (Myrtle) closure from 11a.m. – 2p.m.; equipment on sidewalk and curb; dolly track on street; intermittent traffic and pedestrian control

Location #2: Library Park (321 South Myrtle)
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 a.m.
Activity: Filming; equipment on sidewalk and curb; street closure on west lime between Myrtle and Primrose

Location #3: 401 South Myrtle
Time: 6 p.m. – Midnight
Activity: Filming; Closure of Lime from Myrtle to west parking lot

Friday, July 21
Breakdown and clean-up

The filming activity is sure to provide terrific additional exposure for Monrovia!
