If you’re a veteran, or a family member of a veteran, this event is for you! On Saturday, June 17, the National Guard Armory at 1351 W. Sierra Madre Ave., Azusa, CA 91702 will host the 6th Annual Veterans Forum. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and Programs at 8:30 a.m. and will feature sessions on Mental Health, Women Warriors, Education and Financial Planning, and Homelessness. For details and registration, please visit: www.vetforum.eventbrite.com.

The Forum seeks to assist veterans and their families who have pending cases with the Veterans Administration as well as to assist those in need of opening new cases. Veterans will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives of the Veterans Administration Region Office in order to file new claims and receive status updates.

Representatives from the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VA Hospital) will also be there to assist you with your questions and concerns regarding your claim. You will have the opportunity to sign up for your VA Identification Card and receive a health exam.

The way you can help yourself is to be there to receive the information directly from the source. And you can help us to promote this event to your Veterans network, family, and friends and stand true to the Soldier’s Creed: “I will never leave a fallen comrade behind.”

This event is presented to you by U. S. Congresswomen Grace Napolitano and Judy Chu in partnership with L. A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger.

For additional information, please contact the Office of Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano and request the attention of Hector Elizalde, Deputy District Director at (626)350-0150 or by email at Hector.Elizalde@mail.house.gov or the Office of Congresswoman Judy Chu and request the attention of Enrique Robles, Deputy District Director at (626)304-0110 or Enrique.Robles@mail.house.gov.
