Homicide in East Pasadena – Popular Barber Killed Behind Shop

On September 21, 2011 at about 12:45 a.m., Pasadena Police Department received a call from an individual who discovered the body of a man in the parking lot behind businesses in the 900 block of E. Washington Blvd. Police officers and paramedics arrived and found the man deceased. This person was later identified as King King, male Black 43 a Pasadena resident.
During the course of the investigation, detectives detained four persons of interest in the 1000 block of E. Washington Blvd. and subsequently transported them to the police department for further questioning.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office responded and will provide the cause of death upon completion of an autopsy.
The investigation is on-going and the public is asked to contact the Pasadena Police Department if they have any information regarding this case.
