Engine 105, Engine 106, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, and Battalion 105, along with fire apparatus from Monrovia and Los Angeles County Fire Departments responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire was electrical in nature, originating in a bedroom ceiling fan and spreading to the attic and adjacent rooms.
