The Metropolitan Transportation Authority broke ground Saturday on a $690 million, 11.3 mile extension of the Gold Line from Pasadena through Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale and Azusa. The time line is scheduled now for 2013…a year earlier than originally reported.
Approximately 600 very enthusiastic people attended the morning event at Newcastle Park in Arcadia which included numerous specches and activities for the kids.
