Health and wellness will take center stage at the City of Arcadia’s third annual Health Fair that will offer a variety of health services.
The free community event is open to all on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive.
Free health tests and services are expected to include diabetic retinopathy screenings, mammograms, body fat analysis, glucose and cholesterol testing, hearing tests, hernia screenings, dental screenings and blood draws that assess brain, heart, kidney and liver health.
Doctor consultations, medical information booths and free flu shots while supplies last will also be available.
Most services will be offered on a walk-in basis, organizers said. However, appointments are highly encouraged for mammogram screenings. Visit https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/d4pjyx3s/?e_id=19163 to make an appointment.
Free parking for the Health Fair will be onsite at the Community Center, with overflow parking at Holy Angels Church, 370 Campus Drive, and the Arcadia Performing Arts Center, 188 Campus Drive.
