San Bernardino County Regional Parks has invited the public to the award-winning Hot Summer Nights event on Saturday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Yucaipa Regional Park.
The event is chock-full of games, activities, music, food and a movie in the park — Disney and Pixar’s “Cars” — followed by a 300-drone show set to music from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $15 per vehicle and free for people camping at Yucaipa Regional Park. All ages and leashed pets are welcome, according to organizers, who advised attendees to bring chairs, blankets, snacks or coolers to enjoy the event. To skip the line, prepay online.
Attendees can also enjoy fishing. Fishing permits cost $20 for adults and $5 for children 4-14. A California fishing license is required for anglers age 16 and older.
Yucaipa Regional Park, 33900 Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa, is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Aug. 21.
