With the establishment of a new homelessness department looming, Los Angeles County officials want to know what skills and competencies the public would like the department’s director to have.

The Board of Supervisors tasked the Department of Human Resources with identifying candidates for the director position. The public was invited to take an anonymous survey of about five to 10 minutes by Friday, April 18.

Questions about the survey’s content should go to Mishel Brown at MBrown@hr.lacounty.gov, officials said. For technical questions about the survey system, contact SurveyInsights@hr.lacounty.gov.
