A shooting in Pasadena left a 15-year-old boy hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday.

The teen was riding in a car in the 1600 block of North Los Robles Avenue, three blocks north of Washington Boulevard, at 3:03 p.m. when police received a call from the Pasadena Fire Department regarding a gunshot victim, said Lt. Marcia Taglioretti of the Pasadena Police Department.

The boy, a Pasadena resident, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police responded at 3:06 p.m. to a second shooting of a 20-year-old West Covina man in the 500 block of Eldora Road, about three blocks south of Washington Boulevard, soon after the boy was shot, Taglioretti said.

The condition of the second victim was not immediately known.

Detectives were working to determine if the two shootings were related.

No suspect description was provided.

Anyone who has information regarding these shootings is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at 626-744-4241. Anonymous callers can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
