Woman, 75, reported missing in Azusa, CHP seeks public’s help in search

A 75-year-old woman last seen in Azusa is missing and Wednesday authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating her.

Conchita Villarta was last seen at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday near South Citrus Avenue and Arrow Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Villarta is 5 feet 1, weighs 140 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a blue jacket and carrying a black purse. Villarta is believed to be traveling on foot, according to the CHP.

The CHP issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Azusa Police Department.

If anyone sees Villarta or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
