Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday were seeking the public’s help to find a missing 32-year- old woman last seen in Canyon Country.

Christina Lynn Penniston was last seen on Tuesday Oct. 12 on the 19300 block of Stillmore Street at approximately 8:45 p.m., according to Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Penniston is white, 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds, has brown eyes and straight brown hair. She was wearing a purple sweater and black pants.

According to Meza, Penniston may be in the Antelope Valley.

Anyone with information about Penniston or her whereabouts was asked to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
