A 77-year-old man who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, has dementia and is dependent on medication is missing in Compton and Friday the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Alvin Hall was last seen around 4 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of South Amantha Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Hall is Black, 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown eyes, is bald and has a mustache, Koerner said. He was last seen wearing a green jacket with white paint splattered on the back and blue jeans. According to his family, Hall frequents parks, bus stops and the Long Beach area. He could possibly be headed for Gladys Park in Los Angeles, Koerner said.
