A 35-year-old man last seen in Torrance is missing and Friday the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Ravy Vann was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the 21000 block of Berendo Avenue, said Deputy Alejandra Parra of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Vann is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has black hair, black eyes and a moustache. Authorities say he has a speech impediment and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and brown pants.

Vann is known to go on long walks and to frequent CVS, Burger King and Starbucks, and uses public transportation to go to the gym, Parra said.

Anyone with information about Vann or his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
