18-year-old man fatally stabbed in Pomona identified, suspect still at large

Authorities Wednesday publicly identified a young man who was stabbed to death in Pomona late last month by an unidentified assailant who remains at large.

Jack Mora, an 18-year-old Pomona resident, was attacked about 9 p.m. June 28 at the Pomona Transit Center at 100 W. Commercial St.

Sgt. Iain Miller said officers found the victim lying in the driveway, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police did not comment on a possible motive.
