Maranatha High School (MHS) recently announced its 2019 annual gala and auction, “Sweet Home Maranatha,” has been scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at The Westin Pasadena.
Underwriting and sponsorships are now available. Last year’s gala, also held at the Westin, raised more than $100,000 for a new Technology Integration Learning Environment (TILE) Lab, which opened this fall at the school. Funds raised from the 2019 gala will be used for learning-centered renovations in the MHS Academic Center and will improve upon students’ use of collaboration, technology and innovation.
Underwriting opportunities range from $500 to $2,500 and cover items such as musical entertainment for the evening and valet parking for guests. Underwriters will receive name recognition on all materials and promotional pieces. Those choosing to sponsor the event will receive tickets, name recognition and more, depending on the package chosen. Packages range from $500 to $7,500.
More than 250 guests are expected at the Southern-themed gala, including a mix of alumni, current families and friends. The gala, set for 5:30 p.m. – 11 p.m., is open to the public.
