The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors offered or renewed $10,000 rewards Tuesday in three unrelated crimes, hoping to convict the man suspected of kidnapping and assaulting a missing Monrovia woman and the gunmen in fatal shootings in Littlerock and El Monte.

Supervisor Kathryn Barger recommended offering $10,000 to encourage any witnesses to come forward for the alleged assault and abduction of Amanda Kathleen Custer, a 31-year-old single mom of an 8-year-old son.

Sheriff’s homicide investigators believe Custer was taken against her will the morning of July 29 by her 27-year-old boyfriend, Robert Anthony Camou, from a Monrovia home in the 600 block of Vaquero Road. Witnesses said they saw Camou load her “lifeless” body into the trunk of a Toyota Prius, according to sheriff’s deputies.
