Shortly before 10:28 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 1400 block of Rodeo Road regarding a battery report. A verbal argument turned physical when a wife attacked her husband. Both parties sustained injuries but the 36-year-old female, from Arcadia, was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
March 16
Just after 9:42 a.m., an officer responded to Bank of America, located at 180 N. Santa Anita Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. Surveillance footage revealed an unknown suspect attempted to retrieve deposits from the drop safe for night deposits. The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately 1:10 p.m., an officer responded to the United States Post Office, located at 725 W. Duarte Road, regarding a vehicle burglary report. As the victim was dropping off her mail in the outgoing mail box, the suspect smashed her front passenger window and fled with her purse. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 20 and 25-years-old, approximately 5-foot-8” to 5-foot-10, and was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. The investigation is ongoing.
March 17
Around 1:51 p.m., an officer responded to Sunglass Hut inside Macy’s, located at 400 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a grand theft report. An investigation revealed a single suspect stole three pairs of designer sunglasses and a cellphone. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, and he was wearing a blue jacket, grey sweatpants, and a dark colored baseball hat. The investigation is ongoing.
Just before 2:03 p.m., officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the area of Huntington Drive and Michillinda Avenue. The driver pulled over in front of 24 Hour Fitness, located at 125 N. First Ave. The 18-year-old female, from Los Angeles, was ultimately arrested. She was also charged with driving without a license. She was transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
At approximately 4:34 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of West Huntington Drive regarding a grand theft report. The victim discovered her catalytic converter had been stolen from her vehicle sometime between Saturday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 17. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
March 18
At approximately 8:24 a.m., an officer responded to Arcadia Congregational Church, located at 2607 S. Santa Anita Ave., regarding a vandalism report. The officer determined an unknown suspect spray-painted on the church and broke into a detached rental hall. The investigation is ongoing.
Around 11:20 a.m., officers responded to Executive Environmental, located at 310 E. Foothill Blvd., regarding a vandalism report. A witness saw the suspect throwing rocks at vehicles, which broke a windshield. A 43-year-old male, from Los Angeles, was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
Shortly after 1 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Warren Way regarding a theft from a vehicle report. Surveillance footage revealed two suspects entered the victim’s vehicles and then fled with miscellaneous items and a checkbook. The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, both 25 to 30-years-old, and approximately 6 feet tall. The investigation is ongoing.
At about 10:22 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Singing Wood Drive regarding a residential burglary in progress. An investigation revealed the residents were home when their home was burglarized. The loss is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
March 19
Around 12 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Naomi Avenue regarding a residential burglary report. The officer determined the suspect cut a screen from a bedroom window, entered the home, and fled with stolen property. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
March 20
At about 12:39 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Ramona Road regarding a fraud report. An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) used an email address, without authorization, to trick the victim into wiring money to different accounts. The investigation is ongoing.
Just before 2:26 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of El Dorado Street regarding a fraud report. The officer discovered the suspect deposited money into the victim’s account by unknown fraudulent means and then convinced the victim to transfer the money to multiple unknown accounts. The investigation is ongoing.
March 21
Shortly after 1:08 a.m., officers responded to Paco’s Mexican Restaurant, located at 200 E. Foothill Blvd., regarding a commercial burglary report. An investigation revealed unknown suspects pried open a rear door and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The investigation is ongoing.
