Sierra Madre Rose Float Association to Unveil Work on July 4
The SIERRA MADRE ROSE FLOAT ASSOCIATION will unveil their work thus far at Sierra Madre’s 4th of July Parade .Their 2013 Rose Parade entry, “The Sky’s the Limit.”
The kite will be fully animated for the July 4th Parade. And the team has completed all hydraulic components, as well as all three rainbows, ahead of schedule. Parade-goers will be treated to a preview of the kite in action, as it will actually fly on January 1, 2013.
Roses will be available for purchase on parade day to help fund our 2013 float. In addition, as well as kite T-Shirts and pins available for purchase on July 3rd in Memorial Park from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and on July 4th in Sierra Vista Park from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. All funds raised will go toward the creation of another float.
