Teen, 3 adults dead in Baldwin Park shootings

A teen, two men and a woman were killed in two recent shooting incidents in Baldwin Park, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The three adults died Friday following reports of gunfire at about 5 a.m. in the 3200 block of Millbury Avenue, near Bresse Avenue, sheriff’s officials said.

One man and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead as well, according the LASD. Their ages were not immediately available.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau was assisting Baldwin Park police in the investigation led by LASD Detective Lt. Steve DeJong.

On Saturday, a 15-year-old boy was shot to death in the 12900 block of Bess Avenue, near Interstate 10 and the San Gabriel (605) River Freeway, authorities said.

The LA County Medical Examiner Department identified him Tuesday as Omar Flores of Ontario. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot about 5:10 a.m. Saturday.

No motive or suspect information was available.
