The eSGV Program offers free reviews to gauge home energy efficiency for renters and homeowners in the San Gabriel Valley.
The reviews aim to help residents reduce energy consumption and lower monthly utility bills by improving their dwelling’s efficiency. The program’s “whole house” approach considers all factors that affect energy use.
Each energy review includes a comprehensive overview of a home’s energy performance. Residents will also receive information on rebates, incentives and federal assistance programs, as well as a personalized home energy plan with short- and long-term recommendations.
“Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to lower their energy bills and contribute to a more sustainable future,” according to a statement from the city of San Gabriel.
The San Gabriel Council of Governments administers the efficiency review program.
