I’m Elizabeth Wong Ahlers, married 34 years, mother of six, and a dedicated educator with deep roots here as a fifth-generation Californian. My journey from the classroom to Town Councilmember in La Crescenta has been driven by a commitment to serve and a desire to make a real difference in our community.
California faces challenges, from rising costs, to public safety, which touch all of our lives. As someone who has navigated family and professional life amidst these challenges, I understand the balance we strive to achieve. I’m running for State Senate District 25 to address these issues head-on, advocating for solutions that make our state more affordable and our communities safer.
Education is at the heart of my campaign. With a Master’s Degree from UCLA and a Doctoral Degree in Applied Theology, I believe in empowering our schools to unlock every child’s potential. I’m committed to creating a future where our children can thrive, supported by robust educational systems and community resources.
As our journey together continues, I want to remind you of the importance of your Voice and your Vote. The upcoming election on March 5th is a pivotal moment for our community in SD 25. I am seeking your support to bring our shared values and vision to the forefront of California’s future.
