Public’s help sought finding man, 30, reported missing in Carson area

Authorities Friday sought the public’s help to find a man who is bipolar who went missing in the Carson area.

Deangelo Walker, 30, was reportedly last seen in the 19400 block of South Leapwood Avenue on May 6, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Walker is Black, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 155 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

“Mr. Walker is bipolar and suffers from schizophrenia,” a sheriff’s statement said. “His family is concerned for his wellbeing and asking for the public’s help. Mr. Walker is known to frequent the San Bernardino area.”

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website lacrimestoppers.org.
